Yael stone, a native of New York City Australian resident, was the character Lorna the character of Morello Orange Is the New Black in 2013. Yael is a graduate of NIDA. Yael had the privilege to be able from an early age to work with the best storytellers and performers in Australia, as well as creative directors in the film, TV and theatre industry. Yael has a successful career in Australia. A continuing collaboration with Australia's much-lauded director Neil Armfield culminated in the internationally-renowned production Diary of a Madman, in which she starred opposite Academy- Emmy- and Tony Award-winning actor Geoffrey Rush. Yael was able to find a new location with the city of New York City when the production premiered to acclaim in The Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM). Yael has co-founded The Cannery. Based in an Bushwick, Brooklyn studio, The Cannery encourages creativity, creative writing and innovative initiatives, and encourages the growth of writers in their teens.
