Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox, born 25th December 1954 in Aberdeen Scotland. Dorothy Farquharson was her mother, while Thomas Allison Lennox was her father. Lennox won a scholarship award to study at London's Royal Academy of Music for three years. Lennox's budget was increased by a stipend for students and part-time work. Lennox was able to make a change in her career path following her dissatisfaction with her inexperience and lack of talent comparison with others Royal Academy students. Lennox started out as musician in the band Dragons Playground. But she quit shortly before New Faces, the I.T.V. talent show. Between 1977 and the year 1980 she was vocalist for The Tourists. A British pop band from the UK. It was here that she met Dave Stewart and together they formed their duo Eurythmics. Lennox went on to record her solo debut album Diva. This was released in 1992. In both commercial terms and critically, it was an enormous hit. Nostalgia Lennoxs six-album solo, released in October 2014 is Nostalgia Lennox. The C.D. Lennox has picked her most favored blues, soul and jazz songs. Lepidoptera is a compilation of four impromptu piano pieces was released by Lennox in the month of May, 2019. This E.P. is a companion piece of her artwork at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art entitled"Now I'll Let You go... It's the first time she has released an independent album.
